And what are Gerda and Jennifer on to now?
Since the 2006 Games in Turin, Gerda has dedicated most of her time to the luge youth and junior national team. With great enthusiam she hold classes for beginners, as according to international regulations it is more than vital that professionals promote and help young athletes on their way to the top. Working with the young and seeing their passion and concentration was a wonderful and very rewarding experience for Gerda.
Jennifer has exclusively devoted herself to bobsledding and the Italian national team. Even though it was fairly tough at the beginning, especially with regards to her former sprint colleagues, Jennifer finally managed to create a feeling of balance and harmony between herself and the other athletes. The great results in terms of sports and bobsledding are evidence enough.
